He quickly established himself as a full time member of their management team, a role he continues to fulfil over twenty years later. The management company, ’No Half Measures’, was established in 1999 with the firm intention of working with and developing Scottish artists. A concept that would also prevail with the formation on the record company, ’Measured Records’, in 2002 and publishing company, ’Measured Music’, in 2003. The companies have proven to be extremely successful on an international platform, with every artist and writer involved enjoying considerable success in their fields. Dougie Souness is a board member of the UK MMF (Music Manager’s Forum) and is on the fund raising committee of the Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy charity in Scotland.
